Where’re you located, and can I visit the LOLO greenhouse at this time?
We’re based in Singapore. Unfortunately, we can't allow visits at the moment because we’re currently undertaking propagation of our plants, and are also adhering to the COVID-19 stipulations set out by the authorities until further notice.
Can I still purchase plants from you right now?
Sure thing, you can place your order through our website. We still offer contactless delivery for our plants to your doorstep for a flat fee of SGD8 (within mainland Singapore), or free when your order has a value of SGD200 and above.
Can you reserve a plant that you have on sale for me?
Sorry, we process our sales on a first come first serve basis. However, you can follow us on Instagram @thelocalloco – you’ll be notified whenever we update our online shop with new items.
I want a particular plant, but it’s not listed. How can I get it?
We sometimes have plants in stock that we haven’t had the chance to list. Drop us a note at our contact form or on our WhatsApp / Telegram / Instagram tag @thelocalloco with what you’re looking for – we might be able to get it for you.
I want to order more than 10 of a particular plant; is that possible?
Yes, we also do wholesale quantities and bulk orders of plants. Please get in touch via our contact form or drop us a message on WhatsApp / Telegram / Instagram tag @thelocalloco, to let us know what you need.
Shipping and delivery
Who does your delivery, and when’s delivery?
We work with an independent courier for our plants, who’s had experience in making sure large and delicate items reach their destination safely and intact. Our delivery guy usually picks up the past week’s orders every Friday, and delivers them on the same day.
How will my purchased plant arrive?
Our plants are all firmly established and rooted, potted in well-draining media. We also ensure that they reach you pest and disease free.
My plant arrived damaged, what should I do?
In the unlikely event that your plant is damaged, please take photographs of how it arrived, and get in touch directly with us via our contact form or through WhatsApp / Telegram / Instagram tag @thelocalloco. Our priority is for our plants to reach their new growers well and in good condition, so please reach out to you if you’ve had an issue - we are more than glad to help.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we now offer shipping internationally. We are also able to offer phytosanitary certification services for our plant exports. Please note that there may be import restrictions or requirements in your country that you may need to fulfill - we suggest that you check or get in touch with your local authorities to clarify these. You can reach out to us through our contact form or WhatsApp / Telegram / Instagram tag @thelocalloco for a shipping quote, to get our plants and/or growing supplies sent to you outside Singapore.
I’m new to plant collecting and growing; can you help?
Yes, of course! We’re always happy to help our friends who're just starting out in this hobby, and share what we know about growing and caring for plants. We specialise in a variety of tropical plants, with aroids and staghorn ferns being our forte. Do you grow your own plants?
We have a greenhouse where we grow and propagate the majority of the specimens we sell. For some of the rarer plants that we retail, we obtain them through our network of fellow growers and collectors from around the region. But we'll always ensure the plants we retail are of the same excellent quality as those that we have in our own collection.
Where do you get your growing supplies from?
We’re proud to be the exclusive distributor for Dr Greenthumbs products in Asia. Dr Greenthumbs is an Australian producer and supplier of a wide range of organic gardening supplies.
