Alocasia albutawan is a rarely seen alocasia originating from Indonesia, characterised by waxy, dark green leaves with red venations showing on its back. It can grow fairly tall when mature - beyond 2m in height - with a thick, fat base and stems and large lush leaves. The Alocasia albutawan is easily the most outstanding even surrounded by other plants, in any collection.
