Anthurium warocqueanum #2
If you’re looking for leaves that are long, thick and big (!), this is the one for you. The Anthurium warocqueanum has pendant leaves that can grow beyond 2 metres with more prominent venation as they mature. Warocqueanum can come in several variable forms, but this specimen here belongs to the narrow form that we find to be more attractive compared to the others.
We recommend giving the warocqueanum a pole or totem to climb, as it develops aerial roots along its stem. It prefers lower lighting conditions and a loose, well-draining medium. Anthurium warocqueanum isn’t the easiest plant to maintain, but keep it in a cool, humid environment with good airflow and it’ll produce the most gorgeous leaves.
This plant has been fed weekly with Root Roids and Fruit Roids; and fertilised with GreenSpace Slow Release Fertiliser and Liquid Fertilisers.
