Philodendron gigas is a climbing aroid with deep green velvet leaves and white veins. The new leaves it puts out is a coppery brown-green, and become more elongated as the plant matures. Letting it climb via a totem post encourages it to grow much larger in size, more quickly.

Philodendron gigas prefers frequent watering in a loose, well-draining medium, with bright indirect light, and humid conditions.
