Alocasia albatuwan is a rarely seen alocasia originating from Indonesia, characterised by waxy, dark green leaves with red venations showing on its back. It can grow fairly tall when mature - beyond 2m in height - with a thick, fat base and stems and large lush leaves. The Alocasia albatuwan is easily the most outstanding even surrounded by other plants, in any collection.

Alocasia albatuwan grows best with heavy watering and bright indirect light. We suggest using a loose, well-draining medium. The stems and leaves will tend to droop downwards if there is a lack of watering.
