Anthurium veitchii #1
With its massively long and narrow rippled foliage, the Anthurium veitchii easily muscles itself into the heart of any serious enthusiast who’s looking for a prime candidate to fill in the spot for most spectacular plant in their collection. The Anthurium veitchii’s often called the “king” of anthuriums, and that’s because the leaves on mature pieces can go up to more than 2m in length – certainly rising above many of its peers to take the crown!
The Anthurium veitchii is an epiphyte, which allows it to climb and attach itself to vertical surfaces to display its pendant leaves. They do well in loose, well-draining media, so you can water regularly to ensure conditions stay moist and humid, and their roots do not complete dry out. We grow our Anthurium veitchii specimens in bright indirect sunlight, with frequently fertilising, to speed up their rate of maturing and size increases.
